What you can expect from us at Skylarks

You will receive a warm welcome at our beautiful Skylarks Nursery where your child can join from 12 months old. You will love our term-time nursery where all activities are included and fully funded really does mean free for you.

Education

Your child will learn in a safe, warm and accepting environment. Our atmosphere enables children to respect themselves and others. Through diverse creative experiences, we enhance children’s ability to socialise with others, be creative, express themselves and develop. We provide a high quality educational programme, which alongside their personal development, ensures they are ready to take on the challenges of school life.

What to expect in the Early Years Foundation Stage

Our Play Areas

Play areas are important for children, giving them a space for pretending, expressing and imagining themselves. Play areas promote thinking, problem solving and turn taking and help children learn and develop skills in all domains. Of course, play areas are also important for developing physical dexterity and good health.

Learning environments

Our Sessions

Our sessions are carefully crafted to allow time for freeplay, group time, outside experiences, social eating and personal care. The times are chosen to fit in with the school hours and go towards meeting the needs of local parents. You may choose to merge the sessions but we ask that you stick to our start and finish times so as not to disrupt play for our other children.
